About The Collection
The 2021 collection focuses on life among the coral reefs. These paintings are incredibly detailed and are made with the utmost precision. This collection was featured for a one month exhibition with North Water Street Gallery of Kent Standing Rock Cultural Arts from August 27 to September 25, 2021.
Grace wanted to give her viewers a glimpse of an ecosystem that is not readily seen, but is an integral part of our world. She used many thin, transparent, glaze layers to build depth into the painting while simultaneously using visible strokes to add a touch of whimsy. Her paintings are lighthearted and are intended to evoke joy in the viewer. Painting creation is a way Grace shows her appreciation for the wisdom of the creator and to share his majesty with others.
